Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Review + Giveaway
I was recently sent a copy of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle for review. I am not a person that reads a lot of fat/weight loss books, it can all be so overwhelming trying to figure out the different “methods” to lose the weight. I am a person that can easily suffer from information overload.
Burn The Fat Feed the muscle is different. When I dived into the book during a recent marathon salon appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to get sucked into the book! I am more of a novel/good story kind of girl so it was totally unexpected that I was reading each word, page for page!
As a part of my personal weight loss journey, I learned a lot in this book. It is all about the science of losing weight–from how many calories you should be having daily, to macro suggestions, what do to when you have a plateau, what KIND of exercises work the best for weight loss, what is most important strength training or cardio? So much good info!
What I really especially liked was the tone of the book. It is definitely not a “STOP EATING THIS RIGHT NOW” type of book. It is informative and very laid back. Tom lays out a formula that has been tested and proven over and over again. As a body builder he laid out what worked for him and his clients. He doesn’t tell you to swear off a particular food group like carbs or fat, he suggests eating a well rounded diet and he gives plenty of food plan examples too.
There are exercise plans too! Things you can do at the gym and plenty more that you can do at home.
My favorite part though? The motivational aspect of the book. Tom makes me feel like I can do this. Like I can and WILL get to my goal weight. He creates an awesome visualization plan that included me creating my first vision board ever (and pasting it in my wall in our room so that I see it EVERY morning when I wake up!). I am a strong believer in manifesting your goals so I know this vision board is going to do me a load of awesome!

I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to lose weight the natural way without and fad dieting or any extras. Just with normal food intake and exercise. I completely give this book 2 thumbs up!
