Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle – A Review & Giveaway!

Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Review + Giveaway

I was recently sent a copy of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle for review. I am not a person that reads a lot of fat/weight loss books, it can all be so overwhelming trying to figure out the different “methods”  to lose the weight. I am a person that can easily suffer from information overload.

Burn The Fat Feed the muscle is different. When I dived into the book during a recent marathon salon appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to get sucked into the book! I am more of a novel/good story kind of girl so it was totally unexpected that I was reading each word, page for page!

As a part of my personal weight loss journey, I learned a lot in this book. It is all about the science of losing weight–from how many calories you should be having daily, to macro suggestions, what do to when you have a plateau, what KIND of exercises work the best for weight loss, what is most important strength training or cardio? So much good info!

What I really especially liked was the tone of the book. It is definitely not a “STOP EATING THIS RIGHT NOW” type of book. It is informative and very laid back. Tom lays out a formula that has been tested and proven over and over again. As a body builder he laid out what worked for him and his clients. He doesn’t tell you to swear off a particular food group like carbs or fat, he suggests eating a well rounded diet and he gives plenty of food plan examples too.

There are exercise plans too! Things you can do at the gym and plenty more that you can do at home.

My favorite part though? The motivational aspect of the book. Tom makes me feel like I can do this. Like I can and WILL get to my goal weight. He creates an awesome visualization plan that included me creating my first vision board ever (and pasting it in my wall in our room so that I see it EVERY morning when I wake up!). I am a strong believer in manifesting your goals so I know this vision board is going to do me a load of awesome!

So now that I have given you my personal review of the book, you can read below and see what it is “officially” about: :)

Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle

Twenty-five-year fitness industry veteran and bestselling author Tom Venuto has become one of the world’s most respected fat-loss experts and natural bodybuilders. Venuto’s famous system, Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle, is now available for the first time ever in a new print edition, completely revised and updated with tons of never-before-published material.

Venuto hasn’t always been in fabulous shape. In college, they called him “Fat boy” after he added twenty pounds of belly flab from his beer, pizza, and cheese fries diet. Frustrated and angry with himself, Venuto began researching the unique methods of bodybuilders and fitness models — athletes he had admired for years because they have the lowest body fat and most-sculpted bodies in the world. He made himself a human guinea pig, putting these fat-burning and muscle-building methods to work and winning more than two dozen trophies in drug-free bodybuilding competitions. When crowds of people showed up at his gym door asking how he did it, he began sharing his methods with hundreds of one-on-one training clients. He went on to coach thousands of men and women online through his fitness websites. When Venuto self-published his fat-burning system as an ebook, ultimately he was able to help more than 300,000 people in 154 countries transform their bodies with the same “physique athlete” methods he had tested and proven on himself and his personal clients for over two decades.

Now available in print for the first time, Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle teaches you the four elements of body transformation in his L.E.A.N. formula, including a fat-burning food plan that can be customized for your body type, a 28-day training plan for sculpting lean muscle, and themotivation strategies it takes to stick with your plan. The program is not about getting as ripped as a fitness model or becoming a bodybuilder like Tom did (unless you want to), it’s about using their secrets to achieve your own personal goals. Whether you want to burn 10 pounds or 100 pounds, whether you want to build muscle or look “toned,” Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is the bible for fat loss. It’s the one must-have reference guide that will show you how to get permanent results the healthy, safe, and natural way, and you are sure to refer back to it for many years to come.

I have the original e-book from back in the day! I used Tom’s plan to lose 25 lbs back then and I’ve always respected his approach. It is solid and not gimmicky and jibes with the way I like to approach weight loss. Would love to get the new updated version!
