A sweet twist on regular sugar cookies, these Christmas Sugar Cookie bars are super easy to make and fun to decorate with the kids!
Raise your hand if you have been waiting for the holiday season just because of the baking options. I can’t ever get enough of the cookies and sweets that are made for the holidays.

These Christmas Sugar Cookie Bars are no exception. These are the best bars you could possible make. They are perfectly sweet and anyone can make them, no certain skillset required.

If you want, you can even omit the frosting. I am not a fan of frosting myself so I made sure to make a small frosting-less batch for myself! When you are the baker you get to take these liberties as you need them!

You can make them for holiday movie night, or even a treat to take with you while you do a fun holiday scavenger hunt. Don’t forget cookie exchanges, these are awesome for that!

Sugar – Can you even make delicious Christmas cookies without sugar? This is most definitely an expected ingredient because it’s the most delicious one.
Vanilla – I promise this is one of the best ingredients you can put in cookie bars. The vanilla is awesome! I think we can all admit that vanilla really makes all the baking recipes pop!
Festive sprinkles – You cannot forget the festive sprinkles. Pick up some the next time you are at the store. I used a bunch a different ones from wilton. I used these from Amazon, but your local Michael’s sells them too. If you can’t find specific holiday themed sprinkles, red and green glitter sprinkles work great for decoration.

Salted butter – One of my favorite ingredients to cook with is salted butter. Butter is the magic ingredient in baking cookie bars!
