I am happy to report that I have restarted eating well again. I had a bad week both last week and the week before but I was able to eat pretty clean for 85% of this week! (15% goes to an amazing rib eye I ate when I took the bestie to dinner for her birthday).
I measured all my food, I ignored my cravings and basically took it one meal at a time. I drank my water, had my daily multivitamin and I even got around to making those protein carrot bars from Jamie Eason, which turned out pretty delicious. The only thing that I am not a fan of is the truvia after taste. Otherwise, give me a bottle of water and I am good to go!
I do have a party that I am throwing at my house this weekend that includes lots of grilling, home cooked Jamaican food and cake as we celebrate our 6th year of marriage with friends and family. That won’t be a clean eating day…and I’m okay with that .
The Jamie Eason Live fit phase 2 is in full swing and it is still remarkably hard to get these 90 minutes in. There are several obstacles that tend to get in my way like full machines–since I can only get to the gym during peak times this is normal but annoying. Also, going to bed late and not wanting to get up early at all. Plus, that little thing called work, and kids, and life!
This is called a challenge for reason so I’m going to knock out these next 6 weeks as best I can. I was incredibly sore this week so I hope those muscles are building!
