I’ll be completely honest with you. Cooking right now at six months pregnant is not the most FUN activity. Every meal is nutritionally balanced by our dietitian. We use low glycemic whole grains, nutrient dense vegetables and lean animal protein. There are no artificial colors or preservatives. Everything used is wholesome, clean ingredients like you can find at home.
Easy To Prepare
One of the best parts of the Perfect Fit Meals is that they high pressure process (HPP) their meals, which puts the meals under extreme pressure to kill off certain bacteria. This helps to make the safe and last longer without having to add artificial preservatives or lots of sodium.
We decided to try the Jamaican Style Jerk Chicken first (of course!) and it was as simple as removing the label and popping it in the microwave for 2 minutes.
Hubby loved it, he is not a spicy guy so I always worry about him and certain jerk seasonings. He mentioned that the Jerk seasoning was just enough but not over the top. It is a 3 on a scale of 1-10 mild to hot. The plaintains with the sweet potatoes was really yummy and the entire meal had a ton of protein and was pretty low on the calories side!

I am so happy that I was able to partner with Perfect Fit Meals because as I approach the end of this pregnancy, and await the arrival of baby, I know that things are about to get really hectic really fast.
