I would just like to disclose that we spend a LOT of time in Carter’s. With two growing boys, the clothes shopping seems to happen hourly. Lately, It’s been even harder to walk past a Carter’s store because the baby girl line is just SO ADORABLE. I try…kinda hard…to avoid the sales but like girl clothes, you know? This is a brand new exciting world of shopping for me!
Last week I took the 9 year old to a fun event held in a Chelsea Market event space that was really beautiful. When we walked in, it was way bigger and better than I ever thought it would be. There were plenty of stations for the kids to play and tons of stations that showed off the latest back to school styles. Plus some tween DJ’s to keep us entertained with some amazing jams the whole time!
Not shockingly enough, the boy made a bee line for the denim section which also happened to have a candy bar. While he filled up his candy bag, I was able to check out the awesome denim styles–you can’t really have enough jeans when it comes to these two boys. Plus, when I get good denim for my eldest, my youngest reaps the benefits (thanks hand me downs!).
Next we headed over to the pajama section and of course the giant pink bunny slippers.
We made our move over to the Astronaut/Space section and I found it so amazing that he was wearing a rocket shirt and there was a perfect rocket helmet waiting for him!
My favorite station by far was the new tees that had flip sparkles for both BOYS and GIRLS. I could flip the deigns all day long. I love the two looks in one! I wasn’t the only one completely enamored by this station, it was jam packed the entire time! For good reason, I wanted ALL of them in my size because SO CUTE.
All of the styles were super cute, and made me want to go shopping right then and there, but I just waited until I got home because as usual, Carter’s had a really good sale happening!
Now Going Up To Size 14
The best part is that Carter’s and Osh Kosh Bgosh now go up to size 14! This is a big deal for my household as I currently have boys in Size 10 and 7 respectively, PLUS I can get clothes for baby girl! (Secretly though: I’m excited that I can still be matchy matchy with the boys even though they are bigger. I am SO THAT MOM).
