Disney World trip planning has a way of spiraling fast. You start looking up one ride and suddenly you’ve got twelve tabs open, a spreadsheet you can’t read, and a family that has seventeen different opinions about what’s non-negotiable. Been there.

This free printable Disney World attractions checklist is what I use to cut through that chaos. It covers the major attractions across all four parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom — so you can see everything in one place, mark off what you’ve done, and plan your days around the rides and experiences that matter most to your family.

The PDF has two versions: a pre-filled attractions checklist you can use as-is, and a blank version to customize with your own must-dos. Whether you’re a first-timer trying to figure out what’s worth the wait or a Disney regular who wants to make sure nothing slips through, print it out and take it with you.

WHY YOU NEED A DISNEY ATTRACTIONS CHECKLIST

Disney World has over 100 attractions across four parks, plus entertainment, character meets, and experiences at Disney Springs and the resort hotels. Even on a multi-day trip, you can’t do everything — and without a plan, you’ll spend valuable morning hours deciding instead of riding.

A physical checklist does something a phone app can’t quite replicate: it gives your whole family a visual of what’s possible and lets kids participate in the planning. My kids love going through the list before a trip and circling what they want most. It turns the anticipation into part of the experience, and it means nobody gets to the park and immediately says “but I wanted to do THAT” because they’ve already had input.

It also functions as a memory keeper. Checking off rides as you go is genuinely satisfying, and keeping the completed list is a low-key trip scrapbook your kids will actually want to look at later.

WHAT’S IN THE PRINTABLE

The checklist PDF includes two pages:

Page 1 — Pre-filled Disney World Attractions Checklist: Major rides and attractions organized for easy reference, covering highlights across all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Use this to plan your days and check off as you go.

Page 2 — Blank Checklist: Blank lines to fill in your own personal must-dos — whether that’s a specific character meet, a restaurant reservation, a parade, or an attraction your family discovered from past trips. This is where the list becomes yours.

HIGHLIGHTS BY PARK

Here’s a quick sense of what to prioritize if you’re planning your first trip or working with limited days — all of these are worth putting on your checklist:

Magic Kingdom is where most families want to spend the most time, especially with younger kids. The classics are classics for a reason: Space Mountain (best dark roller coaster in the park), Haunted Mansion (weirdly beloved by every age group), and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are the rides to prioritize first thing in the morning before the lines build. Meeting Mickey in Town Square Theater is worth the wait for kids under 8 — the experience is genuinely magical. And whatever you do, stay for the fireworks. Happily Ever After over Cinderella Castle is the kind of thing you don’t forget.

EPCOT is the park most underestimated by first-timers and most loved by repeat visitors. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the headliner (lightning lane required, get it as early as possible). The food at World Showcase is a real draw — the Japan pavilion, France, and Morocco all have standout options. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is excellent for families with younger kids. If you’re going during a festival (Food & Wine, Flower & Garden, etc.), allocate more time here than you think you’ll need.

Hollywood Studios is where the big ticket items live: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is the most technically impressive attraction in all of Walt Disney World — full stop. Slinky Dog Dash has the longest waits relative to its ride length, but kids love it. If your family has any Toy Story fans under 10, Toy Story Land needs to be a morning priority. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is excellent and often overlooked.

Animal Kingdom works best as a half-day or a full day if you love the animals. Avatar Flight of Passage (Pandora) has the best ride technology in the park and lines to match — rope drop or lightning lane only. Kilimanjaro Safaris is genuinely impressive and different every time depending on what the animals are doing. The park is most beautiful in the morning before it heats up.

HOW TO USE THE CHECKLIST

Before the trip: Go through the pre-filled list with your family and mark your top priorities in each park. This is also when you identify what needs a Lightning Lane reservation so you can plan that in advance.

Day of: Bring the printed checklist into the park. Check off attractions as you do them. Use the blank page to add things you discover on the day — a show you walked past, a meet-and-greet that happened to have no line.

After the trip: Keep the completed checklist. Kids especially love having a physical record of what they did. It’s a nice addition to a trip memory box or scrapbook.
