Easy Caramel Apple Slices – The Perfect Fall Treat

When I think about fall I think about caramel and apples. If that is your favorite thing too then these caramel apple slices are so good!  I’ve got the perfect fall treat that can be used for after school snacks or anytime!

These easy caramel apple slices are even great for Halloween parties! Nothing says FALL more than apples and caramel. Plus it brings the candy apples feel without all the messiness. Traditional caramel apple treats are just so good!

These treats are so good and tasty. They are great for a Halloween party or any fall themed activity! The hardest part is probably peeling the apples, but you can always buy pre-sliced apples if you don’t want to take the time to do it.

I used Honey crisp apples but granny smith apples work too…they are perfect for baking because they hold their shape and aren’t too juicy.

These treats would also be great with Popsicle sticks in them as handles (for kids) or you could even place 2 slice apples end to end and make a whole line of caramel/apple towers!

What ingredients do you need for these easy caramel apple slices treats?

2 honey crisp whole apples

1 bag caramel bits (for melting)

1 cup honey roasted peanuts; chopped

lollipop sticks

This recipe is super simple but just so good. My kids loved it. It’s a little healthy and a little naughty, I am all about balance here folks! You will be slicing the apples and letting the caramel set perfectly.

It’s one of those great fall recipes that you will make over and over. Instead of peanut butter you will be adding honey roasted peanuts on top. It’s a better way to enjoy and less messy.

These caramel apple slices are super easy to make and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Kids and adults alike will love them and you will be whipping these up all fall long!

You won’t need any paper towel or parchment paper for these treat. Some people use chocolate chips but for this one we are using melted caramel for caramel sauce.

These yummy fall treat are so delicious and easy to make! These caramel apple slices are so good!

Ingredients

  • 2 honey crisp apples
  • 1 bag caramel bits (for melting)
  • 1 cup honey roasted peanuts; chopped
  • lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the apples width wise just thick enough to put a lollipop stick in. Do this for both apples.
  2. Melt the caramel bits per the directions on the bag. I did thi via the microwave version as it takes just minutes.
  3. Place the lollipop sticks in the apples. Dip into the caramel and set aside.
  4. Chop peanuts and sprinkle the nuts over the caramel apples while caramel is still wet.

    Serve!
