Ingredients for Air Fryer Blueberry Pop-Tarts Breakfast Pastry

If you decide to make this, you will be glad you did, even the ingredients are so easy. I’ve always been one to buy pop tarts at the store, but if you can do it on your own, why not? The air fryer hasn’t let me down yet! I had most of these ingredients on hand, which made me even happier.

Pre-made pie crust – I always pick one of these up while I’m at the store. It’s a lifesaver when you’re trying to make little pastries!

Blueberry jam – Ah, this is my favorite flavor ever. If you haven’t used blueberry jam in a recipe, you are missing out. It is so good! Once you get this flavor down, you can always try out different flavors.

Vanilla icing – Wow, adding the vanilla icing to the recipe changes everything. It makes it so sweet and flavorful!

Sprinkles – You can’t make a homemade pop tart without sprinkles. Sprinkles make everything perfect! Plus, the kids REALLY love adding sprinkles.

Egg – You’ll need the egg for egg wash. Don’t worry, it’s a simple process and I walk you through it.

Tips and Tricks For These Blueberry Pop Tarts:

  • Prick the top of the pop tarts with a fork before air frying to allow steam to escape, preventing them from puffing up too much.
  • Allow the pop tarts to cool slightly before applying the frosting, so it doesn’t melt off.

Variations of Pop Tarts:

  • Chocolate Hazelnut: Swap the blueberry jam for chocolate hazelnut spread.
