Today we are working those abs!

This one is a classic type of plank! I love it because it spices up the regular plank and keeps you from getting bored–or rather staring at a spot wondering when did a minute turn into 10 hours. I like these a lot and my trainer used to make be do them but since I am hip heavy I found myself having a hard time picking back up after twisting. I also had to pay close attention to my breathing because it is easy to get your breath caught while you twist.

Have you ever tried rocking planks?

I’m laughing about staring into space. Once.. I tried reading while planking.

Those look so tough! But I bet they’re fantastic for the waistline and core. I’m pretty hip-heavy as well, and can totally see myself falling each time I tried to make that twist!
