Lole White Tour – Yoga In Central Park

I had heard a long time ago about the Lole White Tour, but somehow it had become one of those events—you know when you vow to go every year and then you see all the glorious photos all over social media and wonder “HOW did I miss this AGAIN?!”

Not this time. I was in there like swimwear. I brought the bestie too!

Every year Lole hosts over ten thousand men and women to come and do yoga in central park for FREE! Although it IS a ticketed event, folks come from near and wide to get their OM on at the Great Lawn at Central Park.

Lole provided the mats and the swag and all you had to do was provide yourself. The best part about it was that the wardrobe was ALL WHITE—and I love that they chose that theme because it really made the event so much more fun (and fashionable!). You might remember when I previewed their spring collection last year—I love their clothing!!

It was in the upper 80s when we arrived, but super comfortable. We were on the late side because of train troubles, and besting out of work shenanigans—but we arrived just in time for the Yoga practice to start. Seeing 10,000 bodies dressed in all white, on the beautiful lawn with the skyline behind us was truly a sight for sore eyes.Lole White Tour - Yoga In Central Park

Although I did some weightlifting earlier in the day I was determined to do as much of the Yoga class as I could. This was my second time taking a Yoga class in a park and I forgot how being outside in nature can amplify the overall Yoga experience.SAMSUNG CSC

The instructors were phenomenal, I loved how they incorporated advanced moves into the practice and still kept it basic enough for novices like myself. There were some moves that I could not do and some that hurt so good for my very wound up runner body (hello pigeon pose!).Lole White Tour - Yoga In Central Park

I was so impressed by the logistics of the event—managing and caring for 10,000 people taking a fitness class is no easy feat. They had tons of staff helping out participants, walking around, fixing poses and keeping an eye on what was happening on the lawn.

I had to leave after about an hour of Yoga class because I was leaving town the next day and I hadn’t packed yet—however I would have stayed all night if I could because the ambiance, live music and perfect weather was absolutely glorious. A special thank you to Lole Women for dressing me up in all white for the event. The capris are incredibly comfortable—passes the squat test—and are super cute!

Love this! Last year the event was held at the Moma and it was incredibly fun but much much smaller. Also, it was hard to get a good spot but the outdoor in Central Park looks amazing. I saw the best photos from it. So cool! Glad you had fun!

What a beautiful event! Glad you got your yoga on and was reinvigorated in such a beautiful, natural space surrounded by some many yogis!

They do outdoor yoga downtown Atlanta and people just stop and stare..in New York…non one stops and stairs because everything is done differently up there lol. I can’t wear all white..I am like a child something will be dirty.

I’ve never taken any Yoga classes ever, but this is amazing. 10,000 people! I love the site. I would have simply had to rent a wide lens for this. And then my yoga would have been horrible! (it would have been anyway)

I can totally see how that would be nice and relaxing with an outdoor event like that & everyone dressed so simply. And look at you! Lookin’ good!
