Weekly Wednesday Workout: Inner Thigh Leg Lifts

When I attend total body class, this exercise is probably one of my least favorite but definitely one of the most effective. The great thing about these is that it really doesn’t take very long before you start to feel the burn. Funny when I see this video, or when I do it, I think about Suzanne Sommers, and her very own thigh machine. (I am totally dating myself so I will stop there)

So can we talk about her leggings? Omg! I don’t think I would have the cojones to wear thatΒ yet but they are so awesome! Okay, back to the exercise: These are great to do to tone up the butt and the thighs. Usually when I do these, they feel like torture and after a few sets I feel it in my entire leg. It is the perfect exercise to work on those sexy curves! πŸ™‚

Man that woman has the longest legs I’ve ever seen! Is it an optical illusion? They look hard but awesome. I still have memories of being around Scarlet’s age and my mom taking me to her aerobics classes and they were doing such old school leg lifts. I used to giggle.

Those leggings are fierce! I would have to be in a club…and a bit tipsy to wear those though. Liquid courage. lol

I feel like I had a thigh master back in the day…didn’t everyone?

I’ve never owned a Thigh Master but I have done leg lifts before. Torture is right! Especially because I carry the bulk of my weight in my hips and thighs. Those are some doggone heavy legs to be lifting. But it does produce great results. πŸ™‚

Well I remember Suzanne Somers and her thigh machine too! Leg lifts are tough! There is no way I could wear those leggings!

We did this today at the Cardio Sculpt class I went to! While I truly hated them, I am stealing them for my own Quickfit Class! Shorts season ahead!

floor for the legs is such a KILLER! I need to add it back in on the regular. “Burn baby, BURRRRN!” (which was also the title of a 1970’s Disco song. BOOM!)

I’ve done these in the past. They do burn. My sister owned a thigh master which I used a lot. I even used it for chest workouts.lol So I run and work out in leggins similar to those with a shirt or tank long enough to cover to mid hip. I don’t look anything like her…maybe I should stop wearing them.lol

I’d wear them though. I’m just getting back into workout mode and this seems like something I could work into my routine without totally torturing myself.
