Weekly Wednesday Workout: Crab Dips

Time to work the whole body out with one body weight move!

httpv://youtu.be/Ue4PztH8aK0

Oh man so this one is not easy! Try this if you want but I am not recommending you do it cold! Make sure you warm up first so you don’t pull any muscles. 🙂 I tried this in my living room while watching the biggest loser and man it took me a couple of tries!!  I would definitely try the low dip before going into the full bridge. This one is not for the faint BUT it is an awesome workout for the entire body especially the arms!

Have you ever tried Crab Dips?

I never tried those. I will try to remember tonight when I do my upper body strength training. Looks like a tough move!

I have never done these! I’ve held that position in yoga (I think it’s called reverse table?) but I’ve never added the dip! I love how you conveniently have these on Wednesday mornings so I can do them with my Wed night class. Perfect!!

I also never tried, but this one unfortunately with my back don’t think I can attempt anyway soon. But definitely does look like a great core workout and thank you for sharing here, Nellie!! 🙂

I like that you did it while watching Biggest Loser! I have been watching way too much TV lately. I need to incorporate some exercises or stretching while it is on!

Holy cow. I can do the dips when I am holding on to something like a bench (or my bed) but I don’t think I am ready for these. You really are an inspiration Nellie!

I’m off to try this! I could use a little crab dipping after being house bound with all the ice down here!

These remind me of the old crab walk we used to do in elementary school. I was terrible at that activity. Got your newsletter the other day. It’s looking great and I can’t wait to try out the workouts!
