Food was no bueno this week! I was a slave to the crave. Plus since Jamie Eason was #turntup I found myself hungry at all kinds of crazy times. I know for a fact that I had way too much bread and white potatoes.
I need to figure out a better balance for eating during Jamie Eason Livefit phase two. I am starving post workout. Maybe it’s the fact that I am working twice as hard, lifting more, but I am so ravenous! I remember when I started working out back in the day I used to be hungry afterwards but this is so not normal for me!!
Jamie has some protein filled foods, I just need to get down and make some. Things like carrot cake protein bars…I so need to try!
Talk about being wayyy out of my comfort zone! Phase two day one was so hard I almost quit on the spot. I probably should have gone lighter on the weights. I did my first superset today and it was SO hard. (I am working on a post defining supersets so stay tuned.)
However with all of that I am seeing some gains, some serious muscle happening which is like the whole point of me starting! And even though it’s kicking my butt I am excited almost giddy to get to the program each day. I am all the way into Phase 2 and I have some before and after first month pics coming up next week. It is definitely getting harder by the day but I’m still going strong!
