Instructions
- -Begin by heating your cake mix.
- -Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit / 176 degrees Celsius.
- -Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread the dry cake mix thinly over it.
- -Place the pan in the oven for 6 minutes.
- -Once the cake mix has been treated, allow it to cool and place the mix in a bowl to use later.
- -Next, put your cream cheese, marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract in your mixing bowl.
- -Mix these ingredients together until combined using your electric hand on stand mixer. If you’re using a stand mixer, use a paddle attachment. About 2 minutes.
- -Add your Funfetti cake mix to the bowl and mix everything together. Be sure to scrape the bottom of the bowl to make sure everything is getting combined. -Mix for about 3 minutes on medium.
- -Lastly, add in 1 tablespoon of heavy whipping cream and mix again. About 2 mins. If the dip is too thick add another tablespoon of heavy whipping cream.-Once the the dip is ready, separate the dip equally into 3 smaller bowls.
- -Add 1-2 drops of 1 of the food gel colors into 1 of the bowls. Using a spatula, mix the dip and gel color together.
- -Once all 3 small bowls are mixed with their colors. Grab your serving bowl or jar and put each color in dip inside of it
- -Use a toothpick to swirl the colors together. Do not mix it to much because you do not want all three colors combining into one color.
- -Next add your sprinkles and edible glitter on top. (Optional: you can swirl 1 more time here also the sprinkles are all throughout the dip and then add more sprinkles and glitter to the top).
- -Now grab your board, make sure it is clean. Then gather your surrounding snacks, animal crackers, pretzels, popcorn, graham crackers, strawberries and marshmallows.
- -Place your serving bowl or jar with the dip in the center of the board.
- -Place you animal crackers on one side of the bowl and spread them out a little bit. You want people to see the different animals.
- -Next add your pretzel sticks on top of the board at angle.
- -Place your popcorn adjacent to your animal crackers and spread them out.
- -Now add your graham crackers randomly around the board. In some places, stack more than one on top of each other.
- -Put the large marshmallows in the big gaps on the board.
- -Add the strawberries in the random small opening on the board but be sure to leave some open spaces near the edge of the board so you can transport it.
- -To make the board even more fun, add more sprinkles over the entire board and you are done!
