Homemade No-Churn Cookie Monster Ice Cream Recipe

We are big cookie monster fans in this house, it’s funny because with our boys we weren’t big Sesame Street people but with our last baby–our girl–we we ALL IN. We still sing the songs randomly and once in a while she still turns it on even though Bluey is her main squeeze right now.
This homemade ice cream recipe combines the creamy goodness of sweet cream ice cream with chunks of chocolate chip cookies and a bold blue base, making it a true cookie lover’s dream.

No ice cream machine needed for this creamy ice cream! This no churn cookie monster ice cream has chunks of oreos and chips ahoy in a vanilla ice cream base.
The crunchy texture of the cookies in every bite is one of the best things about this cookie monster ice cream recipe.

Ingredients:

- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 14 Oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 4-5 drop blue food gel (I used electric blue)
- 10 Oreos, chopped
- 10 chips ahoy, chopped
Instructions:
In the bowl of a stand mixer (with whisk attachment) or in a large bowl with a hand mixer, mix heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and blue GEL food coloring until stiff peaks form.

(Depending on the speed of the motor of your hand or stand mixer this will take 4-6 mins)
Add more gel food coloring if you want a deeper concentration of the blue.
Chop up the cookies and fold them into the ice cream mixture.

Line your loaf pan with foil, pour in the ice cream mixture and freeze 6-8 hours until firm.
Serve and Enjoy

Storing Leftovers of This new cookie monster Ice Cream:
If you happen to have any leftovers (although it’s hard to resist devouring it all!), store the Cookie Monster Ice Cream in an airtight container in the freezer. It should stay delicious for up to 2 weeks. When ready to enjoy, let it soften for a few minutes at room temperature before scooping.

FAQs:
Q: Can I use different types of cookies in this recipe?
A: Absolutely! Feel free to experiment with your favorite cookies. Try Oreo cookies, Chips Ahoy cookies, Nutter Butters, or even homemade cookies. The choice is yours!

Tips and Tricks:
For a richer and creamier ice cream, use heavy whipping cream instead of regular heavy cream.
Gel food coloring provides a more vibrant blue color compared to liquid food coloring. Start with a small amount and gradually add more until you achieve the desired shade.
To prevent the cookie pieces from becoming too soft in the ice cream, slightly underbake them before breaking them into pieces.
Use a gentle hand when swirling the hot fudge or chocolate fudge sauce into the ice cream mixture. You want a marbled effect rather than fully incorporating it.
