This delicious acai berry smoothie bowl is perfect for breakfast! Using healthy ingredients such as banana, berries and almond milk breakfast has never been so yummy.
I think had my first açaí bowl when I was working corporate many years ago. Everywhere you would turn someone had a new bowl for you to try.
They were extremely overpriced but they were so good! Plus you felt great about yourself when you had one. It was a super healthy choice compared to the bagels and breakfast pastries that were so easy to grab.
Today I’m going to teach you how to make your very own açaí bowl with super easy ingredients!
What ingredients do you need to make the beautiful açaí berry smoothie bowl?
2 Packets Açaí Berry Pulp (frozen section any grocery store) — did you know that you could buy this I never found it until I looked for it!
1 Banana – yes please!
1/4 Cup Almond Milk – we have a ton of almond milk on hand always, the toddler blows through it so quickly!
1/2 Cup Berries – whichever are your favorite, here we love blueberries and strawberries.
What about the toppings?
I think we can all agree that the topping for the smoothie bowl are really what makes it pop and makes the dish super fun!
Some fun things you can use for toppings:
- Banana Slices
- Quick Oats
- Blueberries
- Sliced Strawberries
The color contrast of the berries makes it all so pretty and that much more appetizing. If you have small cookie cutters you can really get fancy with it! Think stars, triangle, hearts etc.
When do you serve this berry smoothie bowl?
Breakfast is a great time! Starting your day off with this healthy meal is a fantastic way to get going. If you want, you can even add your favorite protein powder to the mix!
Let me know how much you love it!
