These Chocolate Chip Valentine’s Day Red Velvet cookies are extremely easy to make with cake mix and white chocolate chips! Throw these together in no time for a fun sweet treat!

February 14th is such a fun day for love, gifts, games and sweets! Today I’ve got a fun and super simple recipe for White Chocolate Chip Valentine’s Day Cookies that you will love!

Valentine’s Day, it rolls around only once a year, but can bring you favor in the eyes of your love! This holiday that has been set aside to express your love for your significant other in a bigger way than just your average day, the day is very important to many women and kids too! (don’t forget to download free Valentine’s Day Bookmarks and this fun Valentine’s Day Game for the little people in your life!)

For many men, however, the task of providing this necessary romance is a daunting one. Most men think in a very concrete, black and white, logical way that can present a challenge when it comes to matters of the heart. Here are some ideas for your hubby to make your Valentine’s Day super special (You can “accidentally” email these ideas to him!).

Breakfast In Bed

Wake her up with breakfast in bed and a single flower. If you can’t cook, no worries! Pick up some pastries from a local bakery and a coffee from the coffee shop for her. Or you can make her these amazing Red Velvet Muffins! Here is a fun recipe for White Chocolate Chip Valentine's Day Cookies that you can bake for the sweethearts in your life! It will mean just as much as a five course hot breakfast because, to her, it really is the thought that counts. The single flower adds beauty which is something she appreciates more than you understand.

Get Her or him A Thoughtful Gift

After breakfast, you should present her with a gift. If the economy has limited resources in your house, she will most likely know that and understand. The trick is to make whatever you do get meaningful to her. Maybe it’s something that will produce memories for her.

What was your first date? Was there something about that place that you could pick up? How about having a small gift personalized for her? Engraving is fairly inexpensive but can make a so-so gift into something truly amazing. There is always something that she will love because it will show her that she is loved by you.

Don’t forget the card

The Valentine’s Day card is essential for your wife. Pick out a card that says what you really mean and don’t just sign your name at the bottom. Write something in it that she can cherish for years to come. Give it to her with her lunch that you take her out for.

Daytime Lunch date

You will find that lunch prices are lower than dinner prices, so you can typically afford a nicer establishment if you plan the date for the noon meal rather than the stereotypical dinner .

What to do after lunch? How about taking a nice, leisurely walk through the park? Even if it’s cold!

If this doesn’t sound like something the two of you would enjoy, you can always go out to an afternoon movie or rent one to take home.

Dinner Date

Dinner can be prepared at home, complete with candles and a bouquet of flowers for the table. You can probably make something using a simple recipe or your good old mom for instruction, but if this seems a bit unrealistic for you, order something in for delivery or pick something up.

After dinner, take the time to snuggle in together for one of her favorite movies and some snacks. Romance is the word of the day so light some candles in the bedroom, turn on some soft music, and treat your wife like a queen. This is a day (and night) that she will never forget.

Have fun making these Valentines Day Cookies

Valentine’s Day should not be about who got the best, most expensive present from their partner. Instead, it should be a day to spend with someone you love, a day to do something special together.
