The Most Adorable Valentines Day Oreo Cake Pops

Prep Time: 30 minutes
Additional Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

These adorable oreo cake pops are great for Valentine's Day classroom parties or fun at home treats!

Ingredients

  • 6 regular sized Oreo cookies
  • 3 mini oreo cookies
  • 4 oz red chocolate candy melts
  • 4 oz pink chocolate candy melts
  • 4 oz white chocolate candy melts.
  • 2 Tbsp candy hearts
  • 2 Tbsp Valentine sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Carefully twist the Oreos to separate the two halves.
  2. Press the two halves of the mini oreos into the filling of the larger oreo to create mickey ears.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the white chocolate, stirring and heating in 15 second intervals until smooth.
  4. Drop a teaspoon of white chocolate into the center of the open Oreo cookie, place a lollipop stick into the middle and replace the top of the cookie.
  5. Allow the chocolate to harden (about 10 minutes) before moving onto the next step.
  6. In separate microwave safe bowls, melt the red and pink chocolate until smooth.
  7. Spoon the chocolate over the Oreo cookie pop until completely covered.
  8. For sprinkles: before the chocolate dries, hold the Oreo pop over a bowl of sprinkles and gently pour sprinkles overtop until completely coated.  Add candy hearts to create a bow.
  9. Place the Oreo pops on a parchment lined baking sheet and into the fridge to harden for at least 30 minutes before serving.
