Avoiding Snack Pitfalls with Pure Protein Crunch!
I’ve always had my issues with snacking. Either I do too much of it or I don’t do it at all. One of my major problems with mainstream “snacks” is that if are not fruit or vegetables they usually don’t have any nutritional value. They are full of fillers and all kinds of ingredients to make you feel full but really don’t make much of a nutritional impact.
Pure Protein Crunch
Since I was introduced to the Pure Protein Crunch bites a few months ago, I’ve been low key obsessed. I usually grab a handful right around 3pm when I am in the office—since I workout most days at lunch, the boost of protein is exactly what I need especially after a hard strength training workout.
What I like about them is that they are small enough to fulfill my snack cravings but not super attention grabbing—for example: some folks that like to bring very, uh, smelly salads into office meetings. I can easily grab my crunch bites from my desk, bring them in with me for a nice treat (maybe even share some, if I’m feeling nice that day) and feel good about my snack choice.
Pre Dinner Hunger Games
This also helps me to not be completely ravenous when I get home from work and start making dinner. If dinner is going to take a while, I find myself reaching for any and everything to eat! By eating the crunch bites at 3pm this helps curb the eventual ravenous feeling I get while making dinner.
The bites are also really great to have on hand when we go out on the weekends. The boys have swim lessons and as much as we try to make sure they aren’t hungry before or after, I can guarantee that one of them is going to ask for something to eat. I don’t mind sharing with them, and they love it because they think that they are getting some of mommy’s forbidden candy (especially because the flavor is Double Chocolate). Whatever works!
Check out some really cool tidbits about the Pure Protein Crunch:

I wish I had these RIGHT NOW! I’m about to embark on my long trip to NYC and I’m already hungry.
I will totally look for these. YUM.
I need to add this to my snack list. I have to learn how to eat more and I have been doing much better than eating one big huge plate and then a half of something later.
I totally used to do the same, now I am trying to minimize my plate!
I will have to try these. I know the pre-dinner prep hunger so I look forward to trying them out.
they are really good!
I once had their Strawberry Protein bar with Vanilla coating a while ago and I can it tasted pretty good.
Now that the husband is training for another half marathon, I should look into these for him. Running always makes him so ravenous!
