What did you eat for breakfast?
I had a protein shake with a banana, mango, pineapple, oj and ice. So good. I am a total egg girl in the morning when I am at home!
How much water do you drink a day?
I aim for 70-80oz which I usually complete before I leave work.
What is your current favorite workout?
Zumba I love the dancing and the exhilarating fun of it all! I love teaching but I adore being a participant equally.
How many calories do you eat a day?
According to My Fitness Pal, I eat around 1500 cals daily, which is probably too little for my workout schedule. The balance is so tricky!
What are your favorite healthy snacks?
I do love plain popcorn, Lenny Larry’s Vegan Protein cookies and grapes!
What is your favorite body part to strength train?
My legs! I always feel so strong doing squats and leg pressing upwards of 170lbs. Don’t ask me how I feel the next day however.
What is your least favorite body part to strength train?
My shoulders! I totally realized while doing the Jamie Eason program that my shoulders are my weakest. I was to cry when I do my shoulders but it is getting better thank goodness!
What are your “bad” food cravings?
Cheeseburgers, salty French fries, cheese doodles (crunchy of course)
Do you take vitamins or supplements?
Yes! I try to take my multivitamin everyday.
How often do you eat out?
Most days I grab something from around my job for lunch, so daily.
Do you eat fast food?
No. Although I want to pretty much all the time. If I have to Wendy’s or Subway is my preferred choice.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My husband listens to me when I am feeling low, not liking my body–all of it. He constantly tells me how beautiful I am. He renews me, daily. I don’t know what I would do without his shoulder to lean on during this journey.
Do you have a gym membership?
Yes, I have two. One to the fancy gym and one to the local gym just in case I can’t get all the way out to the fancy one!
How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
6-7 hours on a good night!
Do you have a cheat day?
No, I used to. I learned it is not helping my goals so I cut it out.
Do you drink alcohol?
Not a drop.
Do you have a workout buddy?
HUGE no. Not to be anti social or anything but I adore my alone time at the gym even when I attend group fitness classes. It’s my little 60 minutes of escape and I treasure every second.
What has the best thing that has changed about your life since committing to a healthy lifestyle?
Passing my healthy habits on to my children. Seeing them eat their fruits and veggies with pleasure is just so much fun!
What was the last healthy thing you did?
I took a day off from working out because I simply wasn’t feeling well, usually I push through and ignore but it was best for my body.
What are your favorite shoes to workout in?
