How can I serve this healthy sesame chicken?
You can serve this over brown rice, white rice, fresh broccoli , white sticky rice, green beans or even cauliflower rice! This is super versatile dish with lots of sauce you can use for the sides. The next time you are in the mood for a great recipe grab this one! It’s a tender chicken recipe with lots of sauce.

You won’t need to shred chicken like you would if you used the instant pot. Instead you make the sauce and right before it’s done you create a slurry (that when you mix the teaspoons of cornstarch in a small bowl with water to make a thicker sauce, this cornstarch mixture is key).

The sauce mixture is the real star of the show. My family says it’s the best part! The cooking time is 3.5 hours which is not so bad for a crockpot meal.
To keep the leftovers of this slow cooker sesame-garlic chicken it makes sense to store the chicken in an airtight container.
