- 6 large croissants
- 10-12 slices of thin deli meat (ham, turkey or prosciutto)
- 3-4 eggs (3 large or 4 small)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary and thyme, finely chopped (reserve 1 tsp)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic power
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 4 oz mozzarella, half cubed, half shredded
- Honey Butter & Herb Sauce
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp chopped rosemary and thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Slice the croissants into thirds
- Add the eggs, cream, milk, fresh herbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to a bowl
- Mix well
- Lightly spray the baking dish with non stick spray
- Dip the pieces of the croissants into the egg mixture, turning them and fully coating.
- Be sure to shake off any excess mixture
- Place into the baking dish until all have been fitted.
- Next fold the slices of ham in half, then half again, and in half once more to create the illusion of a rose.
- Slide the meat roses into the dish wherever you’d like.
