French Silk Pie Brownies
These awesome French Silk Pie Brownies are decadent and delicious. They are great to bring over for dinners and holiday desserts.
Ingredients
- 1 9x13 fudge brownie mix
- 4 oz. of baking chocolate or milk chocolate chips
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese allowed to set at room temperature
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 16 oz. tub whipped topping – thawed
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie mix according to directions. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to fully cool.
- In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until fully combined. Then fold in the whipped topping.
- In a microwave safe bowl add chocolate and butter (cut butter into small cubes allowing it to melt more evenly. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir and then microwave in 15-second increments until chocolate and butter have melted and are smooth.
- Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Spread the French silk topping on the brownies and refrigerate until set, about 2-4 hours. Once brownies are set cut into squares and top with additional whipped cream and chocolate if desired.
