  • In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until fully combined.  Then fold in the whipped topping.  
  • In a microwave safe bowl add chocolate and butter (cut butter into small cubes allowing it to melt more evenly.  Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir and then microwave in 15-second increments until chocolate and butter have melted and are smooth.  
  • Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and stir until fully combined.
  • Spread the French silk topping on the brownies and refrigerate until set, about 2-4 hours.  Once brownies are set cut into squares and top with additional whipped cream and chocolate if desired.
