Easy Homemade Vanilla Pudding Recipe
This amazing vanilla pudding recipe is so easy to make at home and it's great for pies or any anytime snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup sugar, granulated
- ¼ cup corn-starch
- 2 ½ cups milk, whole
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 large egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, mixed with the sugar and the corn-starch. Set aside.
- Add your milk, whipping cream, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla to a separate large mixing bowl.
- With your saucepan on medium heat, bring all of your ingredients to a boil. Make sure that you are continuously whisking to ensure no clumps build-up.
- Once your pudding has come to a boil, remove it from the heat. Whisk in your vanilla extract. Once incorporated, add in your melted butter.
- Transfer your pudding from the saucepan to individual serving dishes, or one large container to hold all of your pudding.
