Classic Bay Breeze Cocktail Drink Recipe

This classic Bay Breeze cocktail is made with coconut rum, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. Serve with a lime wedge and it will become one of your favorite tropical cocktails!

You may know this drink as a malibu bay breeze cocktail. The only thing that is different is the type of rum that is used for this perfect drink. Instead of malibu rum, I used Parrot Bay Coconut rum for this tropical drink.

My personal preference when it comes to drink recipes, is for the taste to transport me to a tropical island. It’s time to grab the fruit juices, ice cubes, rum flavor and make this tropical bay breeze drink.

This delicious summer cocktail can be considered a rum punch. However when it comes to this recipe we won’t be using grapefruit juice, orange juice or guava juice.

What are the ingredients in this great drink?

  • 1 Part Coconut Rum
  • 1 Part Cranberry Juice
  • 1 Part Pineapple Juice
  • Lime
  • Ice Cubes

I am always a fan of adding pineapple wedges and lime wedges to alcoholic beverages. The light rum gives a great coconut flavor to this yummy drink. The tropical flavor will make you feeling like you are sitting on the beach with a Hawaiian sea breeze blowing gently outside. 🙂

Grab your cocktail glasses or even your highball glass, put equal parts of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and have a great time! These are great to serve at summer bbq’s, girls night events and summer days!

Some might say that the kind of liquor matters here, but I’m not too sure about that. The Parrot’s Bay is a great white rum is a great replacement in this classic malibu bay breeze drink.
