These easy and fun Christmas Tree Cupcakes are super easy to make and perfect for the holidays!
When it comes to planning a holiday party it can be rather stressful and confusing. Thinking about hosting a holiday party sounds fun at first. It’s a blast having friends and family join together to celebrate the holidays but there are some issues that will arise causing the situation to become rather stressful.
If you’re looking to plan a holiday party, minus the stress and chaos, then you’re in luck. Today I’m featuring my top tips to help you plan and enjoy your next holiday party event + A really fun and easy recipe for Christmas Tree Cupcakes.
Determine Budget and Guests
Before you plan a holiday party it’s important to know what type of budget you’re working with. Figure out how much money you can spend on this holiday party before you send out any invitations. This will ensure you’re able to accommodate the number of guests you desire and feed everyone at the holiday party that you’re planning to host this year.
Make Easy Plan Ahead Meals
When planning the meal options for your holiday party make sure you pick impressive options that are easily made ahead of time. There are many meal plans for your holiday party that you can find online using Pinterest (here is my Christmas board for inspiration!)as a means to get inspiration for meal ideas. Being able to make some easy plan ahead meal options will help alleviate the stress of spending a day or two cooking before your holiday party.
Set The Mood
Since you want your holiday party to be fun, festive, and calm it’s important that you use both lighting and music to set the mood. Buy some lighting that helps keep the holiday party venue lit up in a subtle way all the while setting up a music playlist that features calming music during your holiday party to encourage guests to feel more relaxed and comfy throughout the entire party.
Work Some Cleaning Hacks
Get a coat rack prepared or rent one so that your guests have a space to put their coats without fear or getting wrinkled or bunched up. You should also set a warm plastic bin up in your sink or kitchen area for guests to place dirty dishes after each meal to cut down on dishwashing time after the holiday party.
Don’t forget to keep a window or two cracked to create a cross breeze to minimize any smells that come from hosting a holiday party with multiple people in the same area.
Using these tips for planning a holiday party will maximize your ability to stay stress-free while you enjoy the company of friends and family during the holiday season. There are many ways you can work to create a magical holiday party event, but my tips are a pretty solid way to ensure the guests leave with a smile on their face and full bellies.
