FAQs

Can I use frozen blueberries?

Absolutely, but keep in mind that frozen berries might bleed into the batter a bit, resulting in a slightly different color.

Is it necessary to use both baking powder and baking soda?

Yes, this ensures that the muffins rise perfectly and have a great texture. Just be sure to follow the measurements closely.

What can I substitute for brown sugar?

You can use white sugar, but brown sugar gives the muffins a deeper, more caramel-like flavor.

What ingredients do you need for Blueberry Muffins?

All-purpose flour – You probably knew that this recipe included all-purpose flour already. Without this flour, your muffins just wouldn’t taste as good.

Muffins Not Rising

This is likely due to expired baking powder or soda. Make sure your leavening agents are fresh.

Soggy Bottoms

This could be because the oven temperature is too low. Always preheat your oven to the correct temperature before baking.
