Now that I am with child, I have submerged myself all over again in the baby world–and let me tell you, things have changed a LOT in the past 7 years! Also, since I had my kids almost 3 years apart, it’s more like 10 years ago since I passed everything down to my youngest from my oldest. Baby gear is so much more fancier, and just FUN.

Top pick from the @NewYorkBabyShow including awesome picks from @MaxiCosiUSA, @Evenflobaby, @Le_Petite_Cream, @jujube_intl, & @magneticmebaby! #ad #NYBSBloggerLounge #NewYorkBabyShow Click to Tweet

The New York Baby Show is one of the biggest shows in NYC, pretty much every baby brand is represented from wipes to clothing to diapers–everything! I was a bit overwhelmed but equally excited to check everything out with new eyes.

Even though I was able to check out tons of items, here are the 5 items that knocked my socks off at the New York Baby Show:

Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Travel System with Safemax Infant Car Seat: One of the stars of the show was this amazing and gorgeous stroller system, not only does it come with a carseat, but it converts into a double stroller! What?! Exactly.

The Pivot Xpand can be used for single or double use, rear facing or forward facing and there are no extra parts or tools needed! Double strollers can be super heavy and cumbersome, but this one defies ALL of those stereotypes by offering up to 22 configurations for whatever works for your family! I was in love the minute I laid my eyes on her.

jujube – Smart Bags for Smart people: I am a sucker for a gorgeous looking bag, especially one that is practical AND gorgeous. jujube has a beautiful line of bags in beautiful prints and high quality textures.

Plus there are awesome perks such as a memory foam changing pad, color coded tabs on the pockets, crumb drains, insulated bottle pockets,  and even a picture pocket  to keep photos handy when talking to friends!

Maxi Cosi Zelia 5-in-1 Modular Travel System : I fell in love with this all in one travel system because of the rear and forward facing carriage mode. Back in the day (read 10 years ago) you had to PICK whether you wanted a carriage OR a stroller, this one gives you all of that in one swoop! Carseat, carriage AND stroller that can be converted into rear facing and forward facing.

La Petite Creme: This all natural diaper cream replaces all of the wipes at diaper change! All you do is use the cream to wipe away all of the stuff while hydrating the skin with Olive Oil, Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Beeswax, Vitamin E, & Limestone.

I had a chance to test out the creme on my hand and it felt SO good! Can’t wait to use this on my little.

Magnetic Me: I was able to stumble upon the Magnetic me line of clothing and accessories that use magnets instead of buttons and clips. This will make for MUCH easier 3am diaper changes–no fumbling with zippers and buttons–anything to make it easier! I shot a video at the Blogger Lounge at the New York Baby Show and reviewed some of the items I bought!

I am with you and for me, as well it was just about 10 years ago with my first. And then came my second only a little over a year later. So, definitely could relate to how many years ago baby stuff was for us here, too. But looks like times they are a changing and thanks for sharing all the hottest in baby items right now here with us 🙂

I cannot fathom how much this has all changed in the 10 years since I was pregnant!!! OMG. That stroller alone would have made life so much easier. I’m so happy for you that you get to experience this all over again 🙂

I’m in love with Maxi Cosi. And that creme! I’m like you – my kids are three years apart and I was pregnant with Des 6 years ago. It’s like a whole new world now! With my sisters having their babies now, I get to see all the good gear!
