Starbucks Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate Recipe

This Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate Recipe is so yummy and perfect for a warm treat!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • Garnish - Whipped Cream, Extra Cinnamon, Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan or pot add the milk, chocolate syrup and cinnamon and whisk together
  2. Cook on the stove until boiling, whisking every couple minute.
  3. Once it has reached a boil, turn the heat to low and let simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes..
  4. Lastly, add the caramel sauce and stir until melted and incorporated.
  5. Serve while hot.

Notes

It is important to let the hot chocolate simmer for awhile so the cinnamon flavor can incorporate into the hot chocolate and give the snickerdoodle flavor

While the extra cinnamon and marshmallows and/or whipped cream are garnish, the extra sweetness from either addition adds to create the cookie flavor too.
