Is there anything better than Hot Chocolate on a cold day, or really anytime? Check out this amazing Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate that you will adore!
Have you ever make warm drinks in the slow cooker? It’s so easy and they come out great. This Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate is no exception!
This is one of my favorite drinks to make when I want something sweet, but don’t want to go overboard. Since it’s made in the slow cooker, there is less chance that you will get carried away on your sugar intake. Throw everything in the crockpot and make it happen!
Let’s get started!
Where do you serve this amazing slow cooker hot chocolate?
I like to serve it in these mugs! But you can definitely serve it in your favorite cup of choice.
This recipe makes 6-8 servings. I love that I can make this for my family’s Christmas party and then just leave it simmering on low until people are ready to drink it. No need to worry about taking care of a pot all night long, when you can put it in the slow cooker. 🙂
I like to put it on my buffet table and let people pour themselves a mugful.
The unsweetened cocoa powder gives it extra flavor and richness. You can use either milk or water (or even half and half) to make this drink perfectly decadent.
And although we all typically think of adding marshmallows when we see/hear hot chocolate, I prefer to top mine off with some homemade coconut whipped cream .
It adds an amazing touch in my opinion! Have fun playing around with different variations for this recipe too. Use your imagination to make this amazing!
