My best friend and I set up a table, got the lemonade mix, lots of pitchers and ice (from her house and mine), and we even froze some homemade popsicles for sale!

Tips & Tricks For Making Limeade:

  • Using a Ninja Blender will yield a smoother texture compared to a regular blender. If using a regular blender, blend a bit longer to ensure proper mixing.
  • For an even cooler treat, pour the limeade mixture into ice cube trays and freeze. Add these limeade ice cubes to the float!
  • Add a few drops of green food coloring to the limeade mixture for a more vibrant color.

Variations For This Fun Treat:

  • Frozen Limeade Margarita Float: Add tequila to the limeade mixture along with the Grand Marnier.
  • Citrus Burst: Add a splash of orange juice for an extra layer of citrus flavor.
  • Creamy Limeade Dream: Use lime sherbet instead of ice cream for a more intense lime flavor.

Where to Serve This Drink:

These floats are ideal for pool parties, barbecues, or any summer gathering. They also make for an excellent dessert drink for a Mexican-themed dinner!

What to do with leftovers:

Store any leftover limeade mixture in a large pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to serve again, just pour over ice cream!

Topping Options:

  • Garnish with a lime wedge for a fresh twist.
  • Add a sprig of mint for an extra refreshing touch.
  • Sprinkle some grated lime zest on top of the ice cream for a zingy finish.

Frozen Limeade Punch

This delish punch is made with a few ingredients in only 5 minutes. I’d recommend for a cold treat on a warm summer day, or even a treat for movie night!
