How do you make this mermaid popcorn?
-Get a baking sheet or tray lined with parchment paper and spread your popcorn and pretzels over it evenly.
-If the pretzels are too long break some in half.
-Place your chocolate melts in small microwave safe bowl and melt chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir it, and then warm them in the microwave in 15 second intervals until smooth.
-Place the melting chocolate in a piping bag and tie the ends.
-Use scissors to cut off a small piece of the front tip of the piping bag.
-Follow this step to melt each color of the melting chocolates.
-Starting with 1 bag of the melting chocolate, hold it over the baking sheet of popcorn and squeeze it in a zig zag motion all over the baking sheet, making sure it gets on most of the popcorn.
-Then repeat the same steps with the remaining two colors.
-Using the left over chocolate, fill your sea shell molds with chocolate and put them in the freezer for 5-8 minutes.
-Once out of the freezer, place the mold on a flat surface. Pull on each side of the mold so the chocolate will separate from the mold. Then turn the mold over and allow the chocolate to slowly fall out right over the flat surface.
-Repeat these steps for each color of melting chocolate. Your chocolate in the piping bag will harden in between each set so be sure to place it in the microwave for 15-30 seconds to get it back to liquid form again.
-Once you have all of your chocolate seashell pieces, scatter 3/4 of it all over the popcorn.
-To break the popcorn apart, you can use your hands or garb each end of the parchment paper and bring the popcorn to the middle. Leave some of the pieces chunky.
-Now Transfer the popcorn to a bowl, jars or Popcorn boxes. Then place the remaining chocolate pieces over the top of the popcorn.
