Inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast these Belle Donuts are awesome! Using less than five ingredients, you can make fun-themed donuts right at home.
There have been plenty of times where I’ve gone to the store and brought home donuts. This week, I wanted to do something different for my kids.
I felt that Belle Donuts would be a nice change of pace from me picking out donuts for the kids. Being able to decorate their very own treat gets them super excited.
What Do You Need to Make These Donuts?
Before you get started on making these donuts, you may be wondering what you need. Don’t worry, the ingredients are simple and your family will be enjoying the sweetness of the donuts in no time.
Make sure you have these products on hand to make the donuts.
Plain Donuts – You can pick these donuts up from anywhere that plain donuts are sold.
Yellow Frosting – The next time you are at the store, make sure you grab yellow frosting.
Pearl Sprinkles (Wilton – brand Walmart-store) – An important part of these donuts are the pearl sprinkles.
Candy Roses (Wilton – brand Walmart-store) – Kids love adding these candy roses to their donuts.
These donuts are best consumed right after creating them. Let your kids compare each other’s donuts to see what they look like. Even though there are such limited ingredients, you may be surprised as to how creative your kids can be!
How to Store Donuts
I prefer to get an airtight container to store these donuts in. This means the donuts can last for 3-4 days. I would wait to add the frosting until you are ready to eat them.
Plain donuts are only good for a few days, so keep this in mind as you plan this fun treat with your kids.
