Make this recipe with some of your favorite ingredients or ones you happen to have on hand! You can use walnuts, pecans, peanuts…any kind of nut/seed really. Almonds would be great as well as sunflower seeds. I am not that into raisins but they would also be good folded in if you like that sort of thing.

What are some helpful tips for making the best overnight oats?

– Start with the right ratio of oats to liquid. Overnight oats have a creamier texture when made with a 1:1 ratio of rolled oats to either milk or yogurt. For a thicker consistency, use a slightly higher ratio of oats to liquid.

– To increase the sweetness and flavor, add some sweeteners such as honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar. You can also use a variety of dried fruits for added sweetness and flavor.

– For extra protein, add nuts and seeds such as chia seeds, flaxseeds, walnuts, almond butter, or peanut butter. These additions will make your overnight oats more filling and delicious!

– To make your oats even creamier, add a bit of coconut milk or Greek yogurt.

– Don’t forget to top off your oats with fresh fruits and nuts! This will provide some extra flavor and nutrition.

– Finally, make sure you stir everything together before placing it in the fridge overnight. This will ensure that all of the flavors blend together.

– For additional flavor and texture, consider adding a spoonful of nut butter or chocolate chips to your oats. This will give them a tasty boost!

– If you like crunchy oats, try stirring in some rolled oat cereal right before serving. This will add a nice crunch to your oats.

– You can also make savory overnight oats by stirring in cooked quinoa, chopped vegetables, and spices. This will give your oats an extra boost of flavor and nutrition!

– Make sure you store your overnight oats properly in the fridge. They should last for up to 3 days.

– If you want to warm up your oats in the morning, simply heat them up in the microwave for a few seconds or until they reach your desired temperature.

– Alternatively, if you don’t have time to prepare oatmeal in the morning, make sure to prep it the night before and bring it with you for a delicious and nutritious breakfast on the go!

– Lastly, experiment with different ingredients and flavors to find what works best for you. Overnight oats can be made with almost any combination of ingredients, so feel free to play around to create your own unique recipes.
