This post was developed in partnership with Tom’s of Maine. All opinions are my own.
I am a constant mover. Not by choice really–it’s just the way I am wired. I am constantly moving whether it’s running races, running to catch my train or simply running to be on time to swimming lessons for the kids.
I had the opportunity to try out a variety of Tom’s of Maine deodorants to see if they could match up to my insane lifestyle because the absolute last thing I want to do is be the stinky post workout girl on the train. Tom’s of Maine is an organic brand that contains no aluminum, artificial fragrances or preservatives and no petrochemicals. Plus it promised 24 hour protection, which would come it really handy for those frequent days that start at 6am and end at 11pm!
The first one I tried was lavender. Since lavender is one of my favorite scents it was a no brainer! I used it for a day and loved it, no stink, even on a 85 degree day full of running around NYC. Tom’s of Maine has clinically proven, 24-hour odor protection using odor-fighting hops and the mineral zinc and only natural fragrances.
Since your body is likely used to the chemicals in anti perspirants it is recommended that you try out Tom’s Of Maine for a good 3-7 days to figure out if it’s the right choice for you.
Here are some of the scents from the new line:
- Long Lasting Unscented
- Long Lasting Lavender
- Long Lasting Powder
- Long Lasting Tea Tree
- Long Lasting Apricot
- Long Lasting Lemongrass
It was easy to make the switch to Tom’s of Maine because I have really tried to be more conscious of what I am putting on (and inside!) my body. Tom’s of Maine is not only natural but it’s organic too. I am more than happy to switch to a deodorant that is not only natural but can hold up under the insane sweaty activities of my life. There is a reason why Tom’s of Maine is the leading bestseller of natural deodorants!
