Podcasts have been around since forever, but since the amazing real life crime solving thriller called Serial, podcasts have gained great popularity and there is a vast amount of information available from music mixes, to business, fashion and of course healthy living podcasts.
Here are the Top Healthy Living Podcasts You Should Check Out
1) What You Can When You Can
Carla Birnberg and Roni Noone have an awesome What You Can When You Can Podcast that talks about everything healthy living in a super approachable/girlfriend kind of way. I am a huge fan of these two both online and in person as they both have inspired me to blog about my own healthy living journey.
2) Runbuzz
I first heard about RunBuzz radio at Fitbloggin Savannah–I was brand new to my running journey and had barely run 4 miles. I love this podcast because it is for all levels, Steve Carmichael is a running coach that gives awesome advice and I have learned so much from this podcast!
3) Wellness Mama Podcast
The Wellness Mama Podcast is great, she talks about all things healthy living for moms and family but in a way that is suitable for all levels. There is endless knowledge in the archives. (Thats the great thing about podcasts–they are like blog posts, they never get deleted so all the information is still available!)
4) The Paleo Project
For those of you who follow or looking to follow a paleo diet! The Paleo Podcast has a ton of information on intermittent fasting and following a paleo lifestyle.
5) Fit Girl: Your Guide to Getting In Shape
The Fit Girl Podcast gives a step by step guide to weight management while addressing the deeper issues that may be triggering unhealthy eating habits.
6) Half size me
The Half Size Me podcast shares super inspirational stories of people who have lost weight and kept it off.
7) Fitness Magazine Podcast
This is not from your normal Fitness Magazine Podcast–this one is from South Africa and the accents are so awesome (just saying!). They talk about everything from dieting to gym etiquette and they are quickly becoming a favorite of mine!
8) Nutrition Diva: Quick and dirty tips for eating well and feeling fabulous
The Nutrition Diva Podcast separates fact from fiction when it comes to nutrition. I know I am not the only one that hears conflicting information about carbs, protein and everything else food–she breaks down how to make small changes to make you feel fabulous!
9) Psychology Of Eating
The Psychology of Eating Podcast is a fantastic listen that dives right into the ins and out of our eating habits and gives knowledge on how to get eating habits under control…with your mind!
10) Fat 2 Fit Radio Podcast
The Fat 2 Fit Radio Podcast has not been updated in a while but don’t judge the podcast based on it’s name! This podcast has loads of great nutritional information that never gets old.

Great line up! I am just now becoming a podcast listener (I'm so behind the times!) and am always looking for new ones. I'd add in Runners Connect, too!

Some running specific podcasts I really enjoy are: Another Mother Runner, Marathon Training Academy and Runner Academy. The AMR podcast is like listening to chatter of best running friends and super fun. The other two offer great interviews and training tips. Good stuff.
I also listen to the No Meat Athlete podcast. It's good and has helpful information even for people who aren't vegan. I listen to podcasts almost exclusively when I'm running and the time zooms by!
