These yummy crunchy taco cups are so great for appetizers, and you can customize each topping to your liking!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef, turkey, or chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup salsa, optional
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded 4 cheese Mexican Blend
  • 1/4-1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4-1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup fresh, diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup salsa, optional
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a large skillet heat olive oil on medium heat.
  3. Add the meat, onions, and bell peppers to the pan.
  4. Break the meat up and cook completely.
  5. Drain oil from the meat mixture.
  6. Add in one packet of taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water.
  7. If adding salsa, add your preferred salsa and mix until well incorporated
  8. Add more water as necessary for the preferred consistency.
  9. Spray cupcake/muffin tin with nonstick spray
  10. Add in one wonton per cup.
  11. Add 1 tsp of cheese, then top with another wonton wrapper 
  12. Add 1 tbsp of cheese and 1 heaping spoonful of the meat mixture
  13. Bake for 10-12 mins until golden brown
  14. Remove from oven and serve with favorite toppings.
  15. Notes:
  16. if you dont want the extra cheese, spray a little olive oil between the two wrappers.
