I figured I don’t really get to speak with experts in the industry very often, so I figured I would ask her a couple of questions and get her opinion!
1) What are some postpartum weightloss tips you have for new mommies like myself?
She knows a lot about the topic because she herself has had twins. She did a lot of spinning and running too quickly, her main point is Don’t Over Do It!! She ended up with over stretched knees because her ligaments were still pliable after pregnancy.
She advises that the digest diet is great for new mommies because it’s a diet that is rich in calcium and dairy and it also incorporates a lot of foods that help release fats from your body.
2) What are some of your favorite exercises?
She says H.I.I.T is great for mommies on the go or anyone because you do all the work you need to in a shorter more efficient period. She also encourages strength training because after the age of 35 women lose a pound of muscle a year!
3) (you know I had to ask) What is your favorite cupcake?
Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream (classic choice!)
4) What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
She says most of her guilty pleasures come from the great recipes she has created for the book. Including a banana avocado shake and more amazing recipes!

I’ll be honest, this is a great book. What I love most about it is the conversational approach that Liz took. It’s a genuine book, sometimes some diet books can get super preachy and demand that the reader do what they say or else!
This one is not like that, the book is chock full of great advice with scientific evidence to prove why this method works. The recipes alone are worth getting the book, they are all great unique recipes with beautiful photographs to match.
I would recommend this book to any of my girlfriends with ease. I can’t wait to try the super healthy fat releasing recipes for myself!
