2013: My One Word

When I read Kalley’s Post on One Word, I was more than happy to join because I had been meditating on my one word for weeks.

Last month as we were getting closer to the new year I was reading and hearing about people choosing words to represent when 2013 was going to mean for them. The first word that came to me was abundance. In 2013 I want abundance financially, spiritually and personally in my relationships. Then I realized that wasn’t the main goal, it was a strong part but not what resonated with me.

Then I thought about it some more, quieted myself to listen, and the word I heard was:

Breakthrough

2013 is going to be a breakthrough year for me. 2012 was so good but it was a year to prepare.

I plan on having a breakthrough and moving to the next level in these areas

  • Finances
  • Relationships
  • Hobbies (Zumba instructing, Blogging)
  • Business (My cupcake business)
  • Career
  • Home (renovating and redecorating)
  • Spiritual Life (Getting closer to God)

These things are ready for me to expand and grow. It’s time for a breakthrough.

Anyone else going to have a breakthrough this year? How? What is YOUR one word?

I enjoyed this read, Nellie! I haven’t thought of using one word to represent what 2013 would mean for me before, but after reading this I know for sure it will be “fearless.” The word came right to me while reading!

The main thing I’m hoping for a breakthrough in is my finances. I have to get myself back into better financial shape!

I wish you the best in all of your goals for this year and I know you’ll rock it all out!

    Love and blessings,
    Dre
