Why Make these Heart Shaped Valentine Cupcakes?

There are lots of reasons to make these heart shaped cupcakes. First they are fun, easy to make and tasty. They are also the perfect size for little hands. You don’t have to spend a lot of time making them or spend a lot of money on ingredients either!

They are great for a bake sale, office party, classroom parties, or even a family Valentine’s Day get together on February 14th. The perfect treat to make for the ones you love or any special occasion!

What ingredients do you need for these super cute Valentine’s Day cupcakes?

Boxed Cake Mix

3 eggs

1/3 cup oil

1 cup water

Frosting

Sprinkles 

The best part is that you can choose the type of cupcakes you want to make–strawberry cupcakes, dark chocolate cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes for this recipe we used vanilla cupcakes.

You can even use one of your favorite homemade frosting recipes! It’s one of those easy cupcake recipes that you can make anytime. When you look at it, a heart shaped cupcake is the ultimate declaration of love–or something like that!

These Valentine’s cupcakes are shaped like a red heart and is one of those elegant cupcakes you can serve for easy valentine’s day desserts. The fluffy frosting that you pipe with the decorating bag really takes these valentines day cupcakes over the top.

Heart Shaped Valentine Cupcakes

These super cute Valentine's Day heart shaped cupcakes are great for office parties, classroom parties and more!

Ingredients

• Boxed Cake Mix
• 3 eggs
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1 cup water
• Frosting
• Sprinkles

Instructions

1. Line the cupcake tin with cupcake liners
   
2. Place a marble in the center of the "top" of the cupcake
   
3. Fold a small piece of foil to fit on both sides of the cupcake liner Use a 1/4 measuring cup to add the batter to the cupcake tin. Bake for 15-18 mins
   
4. Remove and let cool in the pan for 20-25 mins
   
5. Once removed you should have a heart-shaped cupcake!
   
6. Frost as you would like
