I am always trying to sharing the easiest of recipes with you. I get that constantly cooking and baking can be a LOT (unless you absolutely love being in the kitchen, then more power to you!).
These lemon bars are really easy and won’t require any fresh lemons or lemon zest. They are quick and delicious and great for a dessert of after school snack.
Classic lemon bars generally have a buttery shortbread crust and are made with fresh lemon juice and meyer lemons or regular lemons. You will need to simply mix the lemon pie filling and lemon cake mix in a large bowl or medium bowl, bake and serve at room temperature. This will be one of your favorite lemon desserts.

- 1 Box Lemon Cake Mix
- 21oz Can Lemon Pie Filling
- Powdered Sugar
- Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix and filling.
- Pour into a baking pan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lemon bars have cooked. These are gooey, so they will not be completely solid in the center when hot.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Slice up and enjoy!
