Tampa: I am in Tampa this weekend for my cousin/God brother’s wedding. Of course I am so excited that he is getting married, but I am more excited to see my girl cousins. We tend to laugh a lot and turn all the way up and it is exactly what I need after the drama of this week. My favorite uncle in the entire world will be there from the islands and I am so hype to see him!
Preschooler: I am so happy and excited to see my oldest behaving himself doing so well in his new school. The teachers are phenomenal and he has so many stories everyday! It’s such a humbling thing to watch your kids grow up in front of you. I remember when I used to rush his every milestone… Now I find myself trying to slow things down!
New Laptop: I bought a new network because my old old old laptop was starting to drown out our television! It’s making all kinds crazy noises threatening to just die any minute. I have already backed up my pictures, music and documents are next. After that I will pay my last respects. It’s been 4 years, it was a good run.
I got a Asus touchscreen Windows 8 notebook and I have got to say it takes some getting used to. No chrome?! What is going on? I have to get used to Microsoft Internet Explorer all over again. Other than that, it’s exactly 2 pounds so it will be attending ever conference with me!
The Good Wife: Can I tell you that the Good Wife gives me the SAME life that Scandal does? It is So good!! I live for Sundays at 9pm! The show writers are seriously and insanely good. The twist that happened this season absolutely floored me. Meanwhile, I’ve only seen season 3 and 4 of this show–I am in the process of watching from the beginning on Hulu and it was this good from the beginning.
America’s Next Top Model: Before you guys start giving me side eyes from heaven, yes I am 30 years old and I watch America’s Next Top Model (that felt great by the way!) There was a really great twist this year, they added boys! Having the males around made things super interesting. It’s just about over but I enjoyed this season more than all the rest.
Key and Peele: I will admit it. I love this show, it is SUCH a boys show. It is rude, crude and downright offensive. As a result I cackle my tail off every single week! I can’t even put up a YouTube clip but feel free to check it out at your leisure… Please do not enter if you are easily offended. This show is really the best sketch comedy since the Chapelle Show (we still yell “DARKNESS” around my house–real Chapelle fans will get that one!)
My girl Allie over at VITA Train For Life did an amazing leg circuit video for us that is such a great combo of moves!
