These delicious Valentine’s Day Cookie Bars are fun and easy to make! Using only 5 ingredients, the family will love these tasty treats!

Making Valentine’s Day treats are my favorite! Red and pink everything for me please. These cookie bars are so fun!

I only recently discovered the awesomeness of bars as delicious sweet treats. These Easy Strawberry Bars are my absolute favorite! I make them several times a month mainly for me but everyone else eats them all up!

Cookie bars are a bit thicker than cookies, and usually are cut in squares. The texture is a bit tougher than a cake but still just like a cookie. You can think of it as a really thick cookie that is not round.

  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix – Making these with cake mix is super easy and cuts out a lot of the leg work.
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips – Chocolate chips makes everything better don’t you think? Don’t believe me? Check out these Chocolate Chip Muffins!
  • Valentine’s M&Ms – These were a bit hard to find at my grocery story but I found them in the Valentine’s section of my local drug stores like Walgreens and Rite Aid.

When to serve these tasty treats?

Valentine’s Day, with its hearts and reds, may be the time when making themed treats feels most appropriate. The warm colors of the red and pink M&Ms naturally lend themselves to this celebration of love, lending a touch of sweetness that is both visual and flavorful.Valentine’s is not just about expressing affection but also about creating moments and memories—what better way to do so than with homemade sweets that come straight from the heart?

Outside of this holiday, you don’t have to shelve your confectionary creativity. Treats adorned with the vibrant colors of M&Ms can bring joy to any day, no matter the season. For instance, in the chill of winter when it’s snowing, blue M&Ms can bring out the icy beauty of the season. Sprinkling them onto your treats can create a winter wonderland theme that’s perfect for cozy gatherings or adding a little cheer to the shorter days.

During the holidays, why not embrace the Christmas spirit by incorporating red and green M&Ms? They can help transform your sweets into festive delights that complement the joyful decor of the season. Whether they’re used as toppings on cookies or mixed into chocolate bark, these seasonal candies can add an extra layer of holiday cheer to your desserts.

Remember, the beauty of adding candy to your treats is that there’s no one-size-fits-all. Every batch can be a blank canvas for your imagination, tailored to the season, the occasion, or simply your mood. Creating with M&Ms is a way to bring color, flavor, and a personal touch to your baking, making each sweet treat a special creation to share and enjoy.
