Tips and Tricks

  1. Aluminum Foil: Wrapping the sliders in aluminum foil before baking keeps them moist.
  2. Baking Sheet vs. Baking Dish: A baking sheet gives you a crispier bottom half, whereas a baking dish keeps everything soft.
  3. Melt Butter Properly: Melt butter but don’t let it burn. Use a small bowl and microwave in 20-second intervals.
  4. Poppy Seeds: Add some to the melted butter mix for an extra crunch.
  5. Garlic Powder: A pinch can bring another layer of flavor.

Variations

  1. Cheese: Havarti cheese or provolone cheese can be good substitutes for Swiss.
  2. Meat: Leftover ham can be a delicious alternative.
  3. Sauce: Swap dijon mustard with leftover cranberry sauce for turkey cranberry sliders.
