6 Things Having A MaxTrainer Has Taught Me

The amazing folks at Bowflex provided me with a MaxTrainer M5 machine in exchange for this post, all opinions and thoughts are 100% mine.

Can you believe the 90 Day Fit challenge is officially over?! Seems like literally yesterday we started but it also shows how much and how quickly things can change in just 90 days.

When I started the challenge I was so excited to get my MaxTrainer because having such a dynamic machine in your home left no excuse! I had no idea that I’d end up getting sick for 2 plus months and losing my grandmother all in the span of 3 months.

The MaxTrainer helped me stay on track with my fitness and here’s how:

  1. Whenever I feel antsy at home and it is a weird hour or I simply don’t  want to leave my house–I can turn on my favorite reality show and get to work

  2. After spending the day in the hospital, I would come home and be extra emotional. Some days I didn’t want to move and somedays I had infinite energy to burn. The MaxTrainer was perfect on those days

  3. I was home for Spring Break with my kids and my eldest baby had a small outpatient surgery during that time. I couldn’t leave the house as my husband was at work. I was able to jump on the MaxTrainer daily while they ate breakfast. I likely would have gotten nothing done otherwise.

  4. I’ve had some super hectic days at work where a lunch time workout was not an option, I knew that I could prepare dinner, put the kids to bed and get a quick interval workout done and knock out for bed.

  5. Good role model for the kids–pretty much 80% of the time I worked out on the MaxTrainer I had my kids nearby playing. My eldest always fetches me more water (even though I have a full bottle ready) and my youngest often reminds me that I’m sweating!

  6. It taught me that every workout does not have to be hours long. Even getting in the smallest of sweat sessions can make a ton of difference in your day (and your heart!).

I want to thank all of you that joined in the 90 Day Fitness Challenge, especially the amazing ladies in my private facebook group! Also thank you to the amazing folks at Bowflex for making this all happen!!

If you are thinking about getting a machine for your home I strongly recommend the MaxTrainer M5–whether you have 14 minutes or one hour–you will get an incredible workout top to bottom, every single time!

Do you have gym equipment in your home? What do in your go to workout when you don’t have any time?

So happy to hear you're enjoying your Bowflex machine. They have a wonderful affiliate program on CJ for affiliates to sell their awesome stuff. If you do cardio on an empty stomach on your Bowflex machine 1st thing in the morning before starting your workday for @ least 6 weeks 2-3x weekly, you'll notice a decrease in hunger and accelerated weight loss, in addition to better sleep patterns. :-)

Oh, how I wish we had space for something like that in our house for all the reasons you listed above! Keep up the great work and fantastic example for your kids!

This is a big deal, Nellie! I want one. I want to learn more about helping my heart and it doesn't have to be this big, stretched out deal, where I drive all the way to the park or gym, and back. Sigh. Love this idea. And boy - you had quite a winter/spring, didn't you?

YES but maybe it was due, it's been a smooth couple of years before that.

I wanted something in my home but I realize I have no space for it ...at all. I would have to put it in my bedroom..Now I wish I had gotten a 5 bedroom house lol. I am glad the kids can get things for you and they see you working out so it motivates them that mommy keeps it moving no matter what.

Great lessons to have learned and these are some of the reasons I have loved having a stationary bike in my home, too :)
