Easy Lunch Options With New Healthy Choice Power Bowls

I  asked a simple question in the Women Prioritizing Fitness group last month. What is your tough spot when it comes to meals of the day? For me personally it has ALWAYS been lunch. I struggle with balance mainly, usually because I don’t want to prep another meal in addition to dinner for the week.

I’ve been getting by on smoothies and such but some days I just want something healthy to chew on. I also don’t want to spend an hour making it because let’s face it, time is money. When I heard about these new Healthy Choice Power Bowls filled with nutrient dense veggies, lean proteins and whole grains, I was immediately intrigued.

It was exactly what I was looking for. There have been more than one time where I have eaten popcorn for lunch. Sometimes the schedule is so hectic that I just need to grab what I can. With these new bowls I can simply heat up my meal in 4 minutes, eat it and continue on with my day knowing that I’ve taken care of my body with quality ingredients (not junk that randomly grab).

There’s also a few NEW aspects of Healthy Choice that I absolutely adore.

  1. They no longer have plastic bowls. The bowl is now made from a plant based fiber.
  2. Healthy Choice has really made a strong effort to focus on delicious tasting food that is also really good for you. This includes ancient whole grains, colorful vegetables and lean proteins.

The Healthy Choice Power Bowls comes in several different varieties including the Adobo Chicken Bowl and the Korean Inspired Beef Bowl.

I tried the Korean Inspired Beef Bowl first because you guys know how much I love my steak!! It took about 4 minutes to heat all the way through. I love the bowls too because it reminds me of the bowls I used to get at the deli when I was working in the office full time.

It was really yummy! The Korean Bowl had a bit of a kick to it. Not too spicy that you need a drink next to you for relief but just the right amount of spice to remind you that you are alive! The steak wasn’t chewy and the ingredients tasted really good mixed together. I cleaned my plate! It is definitely a step up and didn’t feel like a frozen meal at all.

Some reasons why you should try the new Healthy Choice line:

  • Every Power Bowl is made with intentional balance of nutrient-packed veggies
natural proteins and whole grains to fuel your lifestyle.
  • There is over 16g of protein and 6-8g of fiber in every bowl.
  • All natural meat ingredients
  • Chicken raised without antibiotics
  • All Natural USDA Choice Beef
  • All Natural Pork Loin

My lunch dilemma has been solved! For more info on the new line of delish bowls from Healthy Choice check out this link.

Yum!! With 3 wild kids running around, I don’t have a chance to spend much time in the kitchen. I need stuff like this for emergency meals haha!

I haven’t seen these in stores around here. I love the Healthy Choice steamers which are my go-to lunch option. I will be on the lookout for these.

Looks good, but the sodium seems very high @ 600 mg. Does it seem high to anyone else?
