Beyond at Liberty View Grand Opening in Sunset Park Brooklyn

Grand Opening of Beyond at Liberty View

Last week I was invited as media to check out the new shopping area Beyond at Liberty View in Sunset Park that included a brand new Bed Bath & Beyond, World Market, Buy Buy Baby and more. The constant improving and gentrification of Brooklyn is NOT slowing down any time soon!

I was super excited to go shopping! The shops were located in the same building as Saks Off Fifth (remember my amazing haul from there?!). The first place I wanted to try was World Market, apparently all of you have heard of this amazing store before but this was my first time!

Cost Plus World Market

I was drawn to everything. I couldn’t believe how stunning it all was. They have buyers from all over the world that bring the most gorgeous pieces of home, clothing and more to each store. I had to take a full look through of the store before I made up my mind about what I wanted to buy (which was everything). The beauty of the store was just overwhelming. The furniture, the chandeliers, the glassware, the food–all of it was just stunning and made me wants to chuck everything I have in my home and start all over at World Market!

Even though most of the store is filled with beauty from all over the world, this location includes “locally grown” products from Brooklyn, and also features room vignettes which offer the customer solutions for small-space urban living.

Bed Bath & Beyond

I have LOVED BBB since I was a kid. In fact in 2007 I created my wedding registry there and it was glorious. I whipped that scanner remote around like a pro. We got vacuums, dinnerware, kitchen gadgets, you name it. It’s one of my favorite places to shop!

The best part about this new Bed Bath & Beyond in Sunset Park Brooklyn is that they also have an entire section for local based Brooklyn products!

One of the coolest features of the Beyond at Liberty View Bed Bath and Beyond is that they actually have a dedicated concierge service area just for those who need assistance with their registries, home decor and pretty much anything else! “The Beyond Room,” is for customers to work with Bed Bath & Beyond’s in-house experts for concierge services, such as personal shopping, registry and soon-to-come, decorating services.

Face Values and Buy Buy Baby

I love Face Values because makeup! (Obviously!) I especially love that I can get my hands on some perfect travel sized products for my incredibly ambitious travel schedule this year (7 trips and counting planned for 2017–so far!). Face Values is the place for those who love health and beauty products mixed with a little pampering. At the Sunset Park location customers are able to make an appointment (or walk in) with professional stylists to wash, blow and style their hair at the Blow In Blow Out Bar®. Win/Win!

Buy Buy Baby has always been one of my favorite places for Baby gear! This Brooklyn location features a book department with a reading and activity area and a stroller and car seat showroom which is fun for new parents to explore different models to find the item that best fits their budget and lifestyle.

Do you have a cost plus world market near you? Are you as in love with Bed Bath and Beyond as I am? Do you prefer stores that source locally to those that do not?

WOW! That entire scene is just stunning! I absolutely love that World Market store. It reminds me of what Pier One Imports used to be in it’s glory days. And Bed, Bath & Beyond is just insanity as far as picking up a ton of stuff you didn’t know you needed 🙂 Love this!

A few weeks ago we went into our cost plus world market and the child turned to me and said:
Mama, this is still your Tiffany’s right?

Yep. It’s mama’s tiffany’s!!

Definitely puts our Bed Bath and Beyond here on Long Island to shame by far! Seriously, they have some gorgeous stuff and if I ever make it down there will have to keep this in mind now 😉

I LOVE world market, so glad you enjoyed it. I also love that they have a local section. I don’t think ours do, but I will keep an eye out next time I’m in there. I find them perfect for little pick me up’s for friends.

BBB is the BEST. We tell everyone who is getting married to register there. Best decision we made!
I see a dish that I NEED.

Looks like a fun afternoon! Would you believe I’ve never been to a Cost Plus World Market? I don’t even know if there is one anywhere near me. It’s at least not near enough for me to know about it. Though, I am thinking it might be time to change that up.
