For some reason, Fall is one of the toughest seasons to adjust to, there are so many things to get used to, changing temperatures with more clothes on our backs, homework (nuff said), upcoming holidays and wrapping up any loose ends at the end of the year.

The Fall season can wreak havoc on your routine, If you are runner you welcome the cooler temps, but if you are too busy to enjoy it then what is the point? 

One of the hardest parts about the season transition is establishing or re-establishing a workout routine that works for you. Today I’m sharing a few ways you can get started and stick to a fall routine.

  1. Enjoy The Outdoors: Most people retreat indoors once the temperatures begin to dip a bit. One of the best things to do is to explore the fall foliage before it all disappears! Find a new park to explore and run or walk in. You can even go to the park and do some serious body weight exercises outdoors!
  2. Update Your Wardrobe: There are so many beautiful fall themed workout pieces available. Treat yourself to a brand new long sleeved top, or really cute warm tights for extra motivation to get moving.
  3. Try a new class: If you go to a gym, you know that they update their gym class schedule every season. Make it a point to try some of the new classes or at least a class that you have never tried before.
  4. Plan it out: With the overwhelm of taking kids to lessons, and adjusting to new schedules it is very helpful to lay out your schedule and find the gaps. You may find that your workout time has changed. Being flexible goes a super long way.
