I might have made mention a couple zillion times on this blog about my incredible love for indoor cycling. Last week I was invited to join Plum Organics for a fun spin class at Swerve Fitness to unveil their new fruit and veggie pouches for babies 6 months and older. This was my first time at Swerve so I was excited–new classes are always an adventure in NYC.
When I arrived there were the cutest center pieces on the tables. I love love love the details when it comes to event planning so I was probably a little bit too excited to see that there were actual vegetables inside of the flowers!
Swerve Fitness Spin Class
Just when I thought I’ve taken all the spin classes in NYC so nothing could really be so different — I find a new concept. Of course we were in a closed dark space on bikes with awesome music, but this one divides you into teams according to colors and your bike location. You ride as a team and compete against the other color teams.
You are measured by how well you can stay on the assigned pace, how fast you go and who was the individual bringing in the most points for your team. It was a tough class but it really keeps you zoned in on how hard you should be working throughout the class. I was happily worn out. I really like this concept for spin!
Plum Organics Breakfast
After the super intense workout we had an amazing breakfast spread featuring all of the new plum organic products from the Eat Your Colors line. There were savory options that included quinoa and poached eggs to sweet oatmeal options that included mango and toasted coconut as a topping. I love oatmeal so I chose that and it was so so good.
What’s awesome is that you can use the pouches as a sweet and yummy topping for your breakfast! Who knew!? I’ll definitely be adding them to my oatmeal because it was de-lish!
The eat your colors line comes in 6 colors, check out the fruit combinations!
